All good things are green, green symbolizes nature, life, wealth and balance. No wonder it is my favorite colour and features in this awesome theme by Rob Goodlatte.

This theme change called for something a little more than just visual changes although the theme itself has managed to achieve some of the things I was aiming for there have been a few other small changes that I think make a big difference in the end.

By using someone else’s theme I can now reserve the one I am building myself for it’s own new blog and has allowed me to reinvent this one sooner rather than later. Two of the main things I wanted to achieve here was to Simplify and add Character.

• Ads are gone, at least for now, any in the future will be less prominent.
• There is more Whitespace.
• Downshifted to a single simplified sidebar.
• Removed pages that were not being updated or had become redundant.
• Pruned categories and hopefully made them more relevant and useful.
• Categories are now sorted alphabetically.
• Designed a new header to fit with brand.

There is still quite a bit to do really but that will come, expect more changes in the coming weeks.
